Yet, Obama fits the bill as the man of the moment; being born during the rise of the civil rights movement and elected at just the right time. He certainly appears to be the right man when judged by character and merit; rather than privilege and position. He made it to the highest post in the land in living memory of The Dream at a time of national (international) crisis as a man of intelligence and faith.

Although as noted in my latest satire and theology article, I take a rather negative view on politics in light of the present state of Western society, I do think that we should pray for our leaders. I do at times pray for Canada, the USA, and UK. We should hope that Obama is successful, as even a Republican link that I have notes, and he was a blogger for the McCain campaign. He points out that we cannot afford four more years of the kind of problems we had under Bush.

I reason the expectations on Obama are very high, but I hope and pray that God will lead him to make wise decisions, and that he will come to an acceptance of Biblical Christianity (see theologian James White's clip in the comments of my latest thekingpin68 article).

Jeff (Thoughts and Theology) has written a related piece and I have left leave a similar comment.

Cheers, Julz.Dr. Russell Norman Murrayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11505655776770812228noreply@blogger.com
